Can you believe she is due at the beginning of August! So cute and so tiny! We had to move the shoot and ended up shooting pretty close to Tara’s due date. Usually maternity photos are done around 7 months or so, but Tara was a trooper walking around, sitting, standing, and being a great sport even though she is almost 9 months pregnant! I was crossing my fingers that she didn’t go into labor on my watch! But alas, the bun is still in the oven.
July 19th marks the day we committed our lives to each other. We are so blessed to have found each other, and each wedding we photograph is a reminder of our commitment of love for each other…that’s why we love this business so much! We’re heading off to Santa Barbara this weekend to celebrate!

Went up to Seattle last weekend to shoot the oh-so-cute Hopkins family. When you see little Sophia’s smile you can’t help but smile yourself! Melissa is my cousin and we grew up together so I was so excited to have the opportunity to photograph her growing family. I remember many sleepovers talking about future husbands and babies and now here we are! Our parents always said time goes by so fast, but you don’t quite grasp the full reality of it until it is your own life whizzing by!
We are so excited to share some of our favorites from Paul & Trace’s wedding on June 28th! This long-awaited wedding was held at beautiful Descanso Gardens in La Canada-Flintridge & followed up with a reception at La Canada Flintridge Country Club on the most perfect summer evening. The wonderful Marcia from Crystal Clear Weddings coordinated the event so everything went smoothly! As you can see, Trace’s laugh can light up a room so we had a great time at their wedding. From dancing with the feather centerpieces to the kids catching the bouquet and garter, everything was upbeat and fun!
