Baby Makayla is almost ready to show her beautiful face! I have to say, I hope she inherits her mom’s amazing ability to laugh on command. Sarah is one of the few people we photograph that I can just say “look this way and laugh” and she can actually give a genuine laugh. As you can see, it makes for some great photos! And I know jealousy is not a great quality, but seriously, how can you not be jealous when Sarah looks this great while being pregnant. She is like a model with a baby bump! We always have a fun time with Jake and Sarah and doing these maternity photos was no exception.

Well, first off, Congratulations to Amy and Bryan who are now proud parents of Elli Marie! Amy trekked down to the beach just days before her delivery. But with a record 3 and a half hour birth, I think she is my new hero.
We went to Leo Carillio beach in Malibu. Did a little twilight shooting on the beach and ended with a little high speed sync action to bring in that blue sky! Thanks guys for a great day at the beach!

Can you believe she is due at the beginning of August! So cute and so tiny! We had to move the shoot and ended up shooting pretty close to Tara’s due date. Usually maternity photos are done around 7 months or so, but Tara was a trooper walking around, sitting, standing, and being a great sport even though she is almost 9 months pregnant! I was crossing my fingers that she didn’t go into labor on my watch! But alas, the bun is still in the oven.
